Spencer Long Crockett

I recently returned to Massachusetts after more than 15 years living and working in and around Providence, Rhode Island. A native of Cape Cod, I have spent more than 20 years involved in theatre production. Since starting  as a stagehand at the age of 12, I have worked to develop my skills and cultivate my passion for technical theatre. As the Assistant Technical Director at Providence College for more than a decade, I was responsible for leading the construction and implementation of more than  35 stage productions and over 40 other events at the Smith Center for the Arts. Additionally I have worked as a technician for production companies in RI and southern MA, and as a carpenter and electrician with high school theatre programs. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre with a focus in Technical Design and Production from Providence College, and took courses in theatrical design at Rhode Island College.
